This is the second or third week that you have been opened you should have this place packed. Apparently the upper level was closed for some reason no one was up there. Maybe because the DJ that night sucked who knows. Night clubs, there are two that I know of we went to HQ 2 on a Friday night the place was dead. You do get complimentary towels beach chairs and umbrella ( good luck getting a chair or an umbrella) they are supposed to check to see which room you're in, they never did so anyone walking down the boardwalk going to the beach can just stop in and get beach umbrella towels and chairs for free without them even knowing it. The beach area is clean but for whatever reason this area is so windy compared to the rest of the boardwalk and Beach. And just so you know the temperature was over 90 degrees most of the day's. The pool is heated but unfortunately you were still cold because of the wind.

Con's: The main pool the In-N-Out pool, we stayed at the Ocean Resort for 5 days and every day that we went to the pool it was so windy it was ridiculous you were freezing. Check-in is one level above the casino which is good because you're away from the crowd. Pros: The rooms are beautiful and clean the bathrooms are beautiful and the views from the rooms are incredible. I do understand that they just opened and so did the Hard Rock but man what a difference between the Ocean Resort Casino and the Hard Rock Casino. It is a really nice place but unfortunately I think it just might fail. We go to Atlantic City to relax and rejuvenate - not get stressed We prebooked a room for September but it’s not worth it. Dolce Mare was very expensive for what we had and we eat out weekly at better restaurants. Really? For a wasted afternoon? By the time we got settled we just about made our dinner reservation. After a 2hour ride to get to hotelt it was a wasted day. Went back to check in and after another half hour got another room and had to locate luggage again. Luggage comes up at the same time and had to send it back. Finally got to our room - opened the door and a man was in there already checked into the same room! Thank goodness he was dressed! We were mortified. Got to check in at 3:30 and still waited an hour. They make you wait till 2pm for “early” check in. Just spent a horrible nite at Ocean resort.
